The assorted section contains controls for various aspects of the add-on. This includes settings for what is saved with the presets, the alerts that are displayed and their format, as well as which bake actions are reported and which are not.

Presets

When saving a preset, only the properties of the corresponding option's panels are saved. Therefore, when loading a preset, it will update only those properties that were enabled at the time of creation.

Text Alerts

Text alerts are displayed in various parts of Blender when something goes wrong or is incorrectly set. They help prevent bake failures and other issues by providing guidance. Additionally, they assist in resolving existing problems by explaining the reasons for failures and issues.

The UI element alerts appear in the panels when something is not set correctly or is configured improperly. This can include issues like an incorrect file path or a mismatch in the settings.

When the UI elements text alert option is disabled, the incorrectly set UI elements remain highlighted, but the text alerts below them are not displayed.

During the bake process, the baked object and all its materials are highlighted with a frame to prevent interference. If the bake errors option is disabled, this frame is not applied to the materials.

The bake errors are shown when a texture or object encounters issues during the bake process. These errors appear as red highlighted text below the queue items, explaining the source of the problem.

When this option is disabled, the affected queue items remain alerted, but the text alerts below them are not displayed.

Reports

Reports are generated during various stages of the bake session, like when a texture starts or finishes baking, or when a texture or object is exported. You can control these reports individually.

You can also disable all reports at once using the toggle all option.

Whenever a report is generated, it appears in the bottom center of Blender's status bar for a limited time.

All these generated reports start with the text "Auto Bake".

These reports can be read not only in the status bar but also in the Info workspace. In this window, you can find all the previously sent reports.

Different reports feature distinct icons on their left side. Simple status reports display a blue info icon, while error reports show a red error icon.

Clicking on a report in Blender's status bar will instantly open the info workspace.

The Info workspace also contains other reports outside of the add-on.

The presets option manages which properties are saved when . The properties are categorized based on the panels they belong to.
