This panel contains options for alternative methods to edit item properties in the bake and tile lists. It also allows customization of the allowed and used bake types, as well as the ability to dynamically adjust the items' scale.
The property menu includes four options that control the visibility of the bake list's item properties, such as the types' name, sampling group, and color space property. You can also manage the visibility of the type sub-properties as a whole.
By default, the scale of new bake list items matches that of the previous item. When the dynamic scale option is enabled, the scale of newly added bake list items is adjusted based on the scales of the last two items.
The item's scale is doubled when the types of the previous two items are the same and their scales are also doubled. Conversely, it is halved when the scales of the previous two items are halved.
The type visibility option allows you to hide unused and unwanted type categories. When a category is disabled, it is no longer available for the bake list items.
The base shader types cannot be disabled, including base color, normal, roughness, and others.
Disabled bake items are not added when using the load by linked option.
The bake list items' type and scale values can be edited in more ways beyond the default method using the options below the bake list. The bake list options are divided into in-line item editing and the default method .
By enabling the in-line type and scale/multiplier edit options, you can edit the bake list items' type and scale values directly from the list.
When both the type and scale in-line edit options are enabled, mouse clicks are captured by them, which can make it difficult to switch items. To address this, the icon's area is maintained as a safe zone.
The default type and scale/multiplier editor can also be hidden from below the list.
The tile list options function in the same way as the bake list's edit methods. The only difference is that they control the in-line editing of the tile number and tile scale for the items in the UDIM tile list.
Once the in-line options are enabled, the tile number and tile scale can be modified directly from the bake item, eliminating the need for the default tile number and scale editor, which can also be disabled.
