The preferences panel is simple, containing just a single button. This button serves as a shortcut to the addon's preferences menu, where the addon can be customized to your liking.
The settings in the preferences window are shared across all .blend files. Changing a property value will apply the change to all other .blend files as well.
By clicking on the open preferences button, a new window dialog opens. In this window, you can find an option to hide the preferences panel's visibility.
By holding the CTRL
key while clicking the button, the popup window is skipped.
Before confirming the popup window, there is also an option to hide the preferences, which can be enabled if needed.
When the hide preferences window option is enabled, the entire preferences panel is hidden. This change can be reverted at any time.
After confirming the popup window by clicking the 'ok' button, Blender's preferences window opens, automatically filtered to display Auto Bake's settings.
The preferences window includes a button to restore the preferences panel, along with various options organized into sub-sections.
The restore preferences button is only visible if the hide preferences option was enabled when opening the preferences using the open preferences button. Clicking the restore preferences button will instantly restore the preferences panel.
