The installation of Auto Bake is simple and can be completed in a few steps. Before you start, make sure you have downloaded the 'auto_bake.zip' file and have Blender open.
The minimum Blender version required for Auto Bake is 3.3. If you are using an older version, please visit Blender's website to download the latest version.
Open the folder where you downloaded the zip file and drag it into Blender. This will bring up a popup window where you simply need to click the Ok button.
Open the Preferences window by clicking on the Edit menu in the upper-left corner, then select the Preferences option from the dropdown.
In the Preferences window, switch to the Add-ons tab on the left. Then, click the Install button in the upper-right corner.
In the new window, locate and select the downloaded zip file, then click Install Add-on in the bottom-right corner.
Auto Bake is now installed but needs to be enabled for use. If you don't see Auto Bake, ensure the community option is enabled and that the add-on category is set to either all or baking. Both options are at the top of the window. To enable Auto Bake, click the checkbox next to its name.
Auto Bake is now successfully installed and ready to use. However, to ensure the installation is saved, you need to save the preferences. Click the icon in the bottom-left corner of the window and select the Save Preferences option.
With this, the installation is complete, and Auto Bake is ready to use. By default, Auto Bake will appear in the Properties > Render panel.
